Waitlist have begun at most levels but we still require players at 9U and 13U. At this stage friend requests may not be possible as many teams have started to be made. Also, we are still looking for parents to come forward to help coach so we encourage you all to look at helping out in any way possible.

Players are responsible to purchase their own bat, helmet, baseball glove and sneakers/cleats. Players are encouraged to wear a protective cup (boys) or jill (girls), At 7U, all players will received a team t-shirt and hat that they can keep. At 9U you will get a t-shirt, hat and pants that you keep at the end of the season. At 11U and above you will get a jersey, pants and hat. The jersey must be returned at the end of the season. For those players getting pants we ask that if you do not plan to play the following season or you have outgrown them that you please return them to the coach or at the uniform fitting the following year and we will do an exchange. The association For safety, no shorts or sandals.
Volunteers are needed to help in areas such as coaching and managing teams. If you are interested in being a divisional coordinator, please reach out to us. No sport can be successful without volunteers and Bedford Minor Baseball is no different. We encourage you to sign up on the registration form in the space provided, or contact one of the members of the executive. The association presently is run by a small group of volunteers, who also volunteer with various teams as coaches or managers.
If you are interested in coaching and would like some formal instruction, Bedford Minor Baseball will support you by paying for your start up course, which consists of an on-line course and a four hour technical course.
Players in the 7U - Rally Cap and the 9U division get a hat and t-shirt to keep, as well as Baseball Canada hats through our Rally Cap Program.
At the recreational level, players receive a hat to keep and they will keep their pants at the end of the year. If they are not plannning to play next year then we would ask that you return them so we can use them in the future. Players who plan to play next season and outgrow them can return them next season and get a new pair of pants. Players in 11U, 13U, 15U and 18U must return their jersey at the end of the season.
In all age groups, equipment such as baseballs are provided by the Association, along with all umpire and field associated costs. Bedford Minor Baseball also insures all players with Baseball Nova Scotia, at a cost of $30 per participant.
All players need to have their own baseball glove, batting helmet, and bat. Players should wear a protective cup (boys) or jill (girls), pants, and proper footwear (sneakers or plastic cleats). For safety, no shorts or sandals.
